Scholarships

Would you like to spend two weeks in the Tyrolean mountains, free from distractions, helping to shape Europe alongside 5,000 guests from the worlds of politics, media, science, philosophy, business, and civil society?

Who can apply?

We strive to represent Germany as diversely as possible at the forum and are looking for people who bring the following qualities to the table: 


  • Connection to Germany (work, training, studies, place of residence, etc.)
  • Aged between 18 and 30 (until August 24, 2026)
  • having Ideas for Europe
  • Good English skills
  • Available from Aug 22 to Sept 4, 2026

What we offer

  • Participation fees for the entire European Forum Alpbach (August 24–September 4, 2026) 
  • Two weeks' accommodation in the center of Alpbach
  • Access to fireside chats with personalities from politics, business, science, and civil society
  • Support from experienced club members on site
  • Membership in the alumni network with over 300 members
  • Opportunities to get involved in the club and the forum
    Participation in events throughout the year

Schedule for EFA26

  • March 2–22: Application period
  • Early May: Announcement of scholarship decisions
  • August 22 - Sept 4: Participation at the European Forum Alpbach

Who we search for

We especially encourage people who are underrepresented in Germany and Europe to apply! In the context of Alpbach, we are looking for, among others, people who are currently in training and have a connection to eastern Germany
